Sol Trumbo Vila is an economist and political activist working at the Transnational Institute (TNI), an international think tank based in Amsterdam. His work focuses on building a pan-European social movement that provides alternatives to the current neoliberal EU policies. Since their uprising in 2011, he has been involved in the Indignados and Occupy movements, acting locally while identifying how these new forms of political engagement converge with other civil society organizations that share the same objectives and values.
